Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mobile, AL. The Commercial HVAC Technician will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in commercial facilities. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, resolving system issues, conducting diagnostics, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations. The position involves interaction with clients, as well as collaboration within the team to ensure quality service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot HVAC equipment
- Welding and plumbing tasks as needed
- Drive company van to job sites
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in servicing ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
